The video consists of a slow 360° camera pan through a narrow cave. You can sometimes see possible exits or passages that lead deeper into the mountain.
As beautiful as the colour shades and stone structures are, almost all of the stalactites and stalagmites have been broken off.

The Hamburg-based, versatile drummer Chad Popple is shown performing a live soundtrack on the occasion of the premiere of the video »Vorhöhle«. The performance took place at the closing reception of the exhibition »Kleine Gesellschaft für Grotten und Höhlen, Teil 3: Kontinent des Unbewussten« at Grundbuchhalle in Hamburg.
